Building Climate Resilience through NSDI

Ms. Qudsia Zafar works in the Environment Section at the Global Climate-Change Impact Studies Centre, Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination, Islamabad. She has over 17 years of experience in meteorology and climatology, contributing to national and international research publications. She is also an expert reviewer for special reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)

She will highlight the role of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) in supporting climate change adaptation through data-driven approaches. The session will explore how climate projections, geospatial information and advanced modeling can strengthen climate resilience and informed water-resource planning in Pakistan
