Primacy of NSDI in Water, Land and Resource Management

Dr. Farooq Iqbal is an Associate Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad and Lead Scientist at the Applied Geo-Informatics Research Lab (AGRL). He holds a PhD in Remote Sensing & GIS and has over 18 years of experience in remote sensing, GIS, spatial data infrastructure and geospatial applications for climate resilience and disaster risk reduction

He will discuss how the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) supports sustainable resource management through geospatial data integration, remote sensing and GIS, enabling informed planning, environmental monitoring and climate resilience
